My family absolutely loves and appreciates our beautiful semi-custom home built by Santa Fe Haciendas Construction.

After a fruitless search for a resale house that appealed to our style, needs, and budget we began the building process with Santa Fe and it took us on a fun ride that ended with a dream home.

In the early stages of designing and planning, everyone was extremely patient with us as we priced out dozens of upgrades and construction changes; and inquired about various floorplans on multiple lots. They graciously reworked all of our numbers again and again until we landed on the perfect-for-us floorplan, on the perfect lot, at a price that perfectly fit our original budget.

The building process was very enjoyable and we loved visiting the site with our kids to see what new work had been done each day. All of the subcontractors were polite and friendly to us and we are very pleased with the quality of their work. When issues came up (as will happen with every single build!) Ivan and Bruce immediately jumped to action to correct them. Inspections, permits. appraisals, etc. all went very smoothly and our closing date was very close to the original estimate. Ivan’s attention to detail was very much appreciated when it came to installing some of our custom items like beams, wall mount faucets, vessel sinks, etc. and his presence on site nearly every day was reassuring.

It would be too difficult to choose a favorite feature of this labor of love because there are so many! All combined they comprise a gorgeous house that is: modern; light, bright, and airy; functional and thoughtfully laid out with tons of storage and zero wasted space; and uniquely finished with a dash of industrial chic flair. We achieved our goal in designing a stand- out house and we get compliments from just about everyone- even delivery and service people!

This isn’t our “forever home” (we’re a military family and will one day get orders to leave Yuma) but it’s our piece of Yuma paradise and will one day be a very desirable rental property thanks to the design options Santa Fe offered. We can’t thank you enough for your patience, hard work, and excellent craftsmanship. We love our home!!!!!
